Where do you think our government fall short in protecting people from online scam? Any suggestion on how to proctect the public?

I think the public needs to exercise some good old common sense. Don't fall for everything that comes your way. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. The government can't be everywhere and find every single scam that pops up. They are new every day. I think they do a pretty good job after they discover the scams.

I think that the US Government is doing a lot to protect us from scams; we can report suspected scams and frauds and the complaints are followed up on. It's also up to all of us to be knowledgeable and informed when we make decisions online. If something sounds too good to be true, then it probably is.
