Is it possible for my lot to offer an edit button?

Every time is hit the start discussion button accidentally, or did a stupid gramma mistake, I could not take away or do any corrections to it.
Please give me an 'Edit Post' button!

I think it would be wiser to post the message agian, i mean you would spend the same amount of time right?
