My sweet sister....

My incrediable sweet sister wanted to call up Oprah to see if she'd give me the money/donate the money to adopt! She's silly. I asked her why Oprah and not Montell...I'm a Montell fan myself. She said Montell would be fine - either or. I told her I didn't really think I wanted to go on national television and sob out my story. But I thanked her anyway. She then was naive enough to think they'd give me the money anyway without me having to go on TV for it. She's adorable. I love her kindness and thoughtfulness. I do think that would be a first though. I don't think I've ever heard of that one before.

Go on national TV and blubber...don't know that I could do it. I'd be so nervous. I'm actually a very private person (funny huh) and it'd be a great struggle for me to do it. Plus I don't know that Jeff would want to either. But I'd still like to meet Montel.

That was very sweet of your sister. You seem to have a very loing sibling. I hope that my children will be close when they have all grown.

Yes we've got a great relationship. We haven't always been this close but I'm glad we are. We made a pac together that if we are widowed when we're older we're just going to move in together and take care of each other. She's great....

How beautiful of your sister. Oprah herself may not give you the money nor may any of the other talk show giants; however, it would do no harm to go to their web sites, poke around a bit and find out if there would be a way they could steer you in a direction where you could get help. Adoption should not be so hard. ~Donna
