Apocalypse  

Apocalypse is suppose to mean the world war that destroys everything. As you can see it hasnt happened yet. If the world set off all of it's nuclear weapons the surface of the earth would be destroyed and life would cease to exist for about 20,000 years. The only reason it doesnt occur is because the people that are in control of the nuclear weapons currently arent stupid enough to set them off. But that doesnt mean there arent countries with leaders that may be dangerous enough. We in North America hear that Iran's leader is insane enough, and this is why the U.N. tries to stop them from getting Nuclear technology, North Korea is another country with a whacked out leader that could use nuclear weapons, but I doubt their missiles would be able to send them out. World War I and World War II were suppose to be considered the Apocalypse because almost all of the world's countries were involved, but they didnt have the weapons created to do the job. That has changed, so if we all blow up then you know that the Apocalypse has happened. Or you wont notice cause your dead.
