Why does it do this?

Everytime I try to play my sims game, when I put it in the cd rom, it pops up on the screen with the opening...you know, play or view more and all that....well, when you hit play, it pops up on the screen with the Epson Stylus program! Thats for the scanner/printer that we have installed on our system. So, why is this coming up and not letting me play my game?? And what do I do about it???

I dont know which operating system are you using but you will have to go to the task manager and then shut down the running application of your scanner printer from the tasks. You will have to end that task and then try running your game. I guess then you should not have any problem.
