Plums and prunes have a high antioxidant ability and offer a high level of defense against free radicals. They are also a source of both iron and potassium and also contain vitamin E. Prunes are also known for their laxative effect and are a good source of fiber.
How many plums should you eat?
Three small plums or prunes equal one portion of fruit.
Maximizing the benefits of plums
Both fresh and dried plums offer antioxidant benefits.

Hi jasjon!
Thanks for the informative discussion.
I really am not aware of the benefits of a plum.
All I know that when you eat fruits it keeps your body healthy!
I love plums!
I like the black and the Spanish plums we have here.
It is really delicious. I really like dipping them in salt.

Hi. jasjon. This is really great information here that you have on plums.
I love eating plums and when I have a craving for them, I usually eat two or three small plums. I love buying black and red plums from the grocery store. These are my favorite fruits to eat during the summer time.
