They are giving away Flu shots in our city!

I would love it for free, as I have to pay $30 for it. I hate needles too, but the flu is a lot more painful. Close your eyes, and look the other way. It is only for a second. It could save your life.

I don't agree with shots like these unless you are older or have a medical problem that the flu could really endanger your life. For the most part though, I believe that all things, including the flu must come and take their course as part of life. No one likes it, but with things like this is how strings of viruses mutate and become more then what they were, and harder to control. They are only $5 here, and I do not get it. They are fee for kids and they do not get it either. I do not believe in taking any kind of medicine that you can fight off natural or with time either. My kids get a bad flu once a year that lasts about two weeks. But in the end they are healthy. All they need is time for it to take it's course.

I pay for them, so I certainly would take it for free. I had the flu two times in my life, and we sooooooooooooo sick, that I never ever want to get it again. I try to take care of myself, but sometimes you still pick the germ up. The older you are, the more dangerous, so, I look the other way when she sticks the needle in, as I don't like needles either, but hate the flu more.

They have mobile flu clinics where I live, some are fee, and some charge like $10. I didnt get one. I am healthy and I know that there are limited supply of these and the old, very young, and people who have or live with people who have Asthma should get them first.
