Do you talk in your sleep? Does your Spouse/Significant Other?

My husband is always talking in his sleep! It cracks me up! One night I woke up to him pacing the floor and mumbling to himself. I said, "Honey, it's okay, come back to sleep." He yelled and said, "I'm thinking here woman, can you keep it down" I could not help but to laugh it was so funny! He kept saying things that were just hilarious. It sounded like he was trying to talk himself out of overtime at work or something. Then there was another time that I woke up and he was sitting up next to me with his face right up against mine and kept saying he loved me and I was his angel. I told him I loved him to but it was time to sleep. I helped him lay back down and he stayed that way the rest of the night. It was sweet, but a little scary to wake up with his face right in mine! Tell me your funny stories, have you caught a spouse saying funny things in their sleep?

I don't think i talk in my sleep. i usualy sleep alone.. not married/in a live in..so thats y. but even when i'm out w/t friends/sleepovers etc.. no one complains. so i think i'm fine. and my bf doesn't either. Whew! what a relief. so is listening to someone talk in their sleep better/worse than snoring, mfrancq?

It is better then snoring. Snoring is just annoying, whereas the talking in their sleep is just funny and entertaining. i would deal with that any day of the week over snoring. Which would you rater deal with?

How funny! No, I mean talking. My husband will have full on conversations in his sleep. Sometimes, I think he is awake when he is actually asleep. I'll be laying there talking back to him and then I will all of a sudden hear a snore in between his answers. I just laugh and tell him to stop talking. Then I go to sleep.

My husband talks in his sleep when he's really tired. When we where first married it was always about work. One night I was just about asleep and all the sudden he sat up and shouted orders up. (We both worked in a restraunt at the time). I looked at him and said no it's not know go back to sleep. He never remembers doing that in his sleep. Now it's sports. My girls play volleyball, basketball and golf. Now he's always yelling at the ref or the girls in his sleep. It's pretty funny.

I talk in my sleep quite a bit from what I'm told... I've awaken girlfriends, roomates, and parents sometimes nearly yelling! One time I was yelling for my mom and she came into the room and I was fast asleep... One of my girlfriends sayed I mumbled alot of gibberish that never really made sense.... She said she heard my dogs name a couple of times lol...

I don't that I know of. In order to know I would have to be awake & that would defeat the purpose :) My husband doe s& he makes all sorts of noises too. I actually have to listen out for the noises because he is a type 1 diabetic. That means if he starts making certain noises (sort of like monkey sounds) that his sugar is usually low & I may have to get ready to call the ambulance.
