Okay, we're not ready YET, but my wife and I are still pre-house hunting... looking through real estate mags and site, checking into mortgages at the bank, getting rid of our credit card debt, finding out about bridge loans, etc.
...anyway...
I noticed a BIG thing nowadays is all the stainless steel appliances... fridges, stoves, ovens, ranges, microwaves, dish washers, etc.
...even stainless steel counter tops!
Well, call me a traditionalist, but this REALLY doesn't do it for me. I realise to some, this is the HEIGHT of kitchen interior decorating, but to me, it's like going to a health care clinic at the hospital... or worse, a morgue...
So tell me, am I nuts? Is stainless steel the way to go? Clean-ability over old tyme aesthetics?
To boil it down... do you like AND would you pay more money for a home with stainless steel stuff?
