I now work with a not-for-profit organization called Girls' LEAP in Boston, we teach young inner city girls self-defense as well as reflective skills, like how to get out of bad situations, how to know when you are in a healthy or unhealthy relationship and so on and so forth.
Recently it's been time to mail out the holiday letter. This is the letter we send out letting previous donors know about the year and also asking for money. I have been the sole person doing this, There are about 500 letters I have sent out. That means I have folded into 3's 1000 pieces of paper. It has killed my back. What do you do when you get holiday letters from non profit organizations? Do you donate? Organizations like this cannot function without our donations. If you can afford it do you donate?
