Horror Stories of Mary Kay and Avon

In another thread "Which is better, Mary Kay or Avon?" we've been discussing what is best about these two companies, ie. which makeup is better, who has a wider variety of products, etc. Through these discussions, I've learned a few people are unsatisfied with their Mary Kay and/or Avon experience. I'd like to find out why, and to learn about some horror stories that people have experienced while either using products from these companies, or in buying or selling.
