|  Most of us remember the 80's - hair bands, pop rock, bubble gum rock, The Breakfast Club, and all things totally cool! If you enjoyed the 80's, share it here. What was your favorite thing about the 80's?
I will name a few of my favorite 80's stuff:
The Care Bears
Madonna
The movies "Space Camp"
Motley Crue and other hair bands...
Guys with long hair that wore their makeup well
Atari
and many other things.....
I think the music of the 80's decade was the best!
(Yes, I am getting old...I was just sitting here reflecting things of my past as today is my Birthday. I just turned 30 and started thinking about all the different things that have come and gone in my lifetime...that is when the 80's crossed my mind...lol)

| |  hi,by asking once you made me to go to my youth memoris in 80's.....i was in college enjoying with HIPPY STYLES of hair, BELL BOTTOM fashion to pants...big size collors..spectacles..colorful shades in clothes WOW.i can't forget those days...

| |  I really loved the 80's. It's hard to say what my favorite thing about the 80's is so I guess I will be like you and make a list.
I got my drivers license
I graduated High School
the music, of course
going to the roller skating rink
the carefree attitude people had
big hair
Jessie's Girl
the Breakfast Club
switching from beta to vhs
Cagney and Lacey
going to the arcade
rubik cube
leg warmers
cabbage patch dolls
gag me with a spoon
Dungeons & Dragons
I could just go on and on. It truly was a magnificent decade and I loved being being a teenager in it.
Thanks for this discussion because it brought back a lot of good memories.

| |  My favorite thing in the 80's was having too much fun in high school. The highlight(s) of my highschool career were getting a 44 in PE, refused to dress and smoked in the bathroom and smoking in the bathroom, making all the "good girls" in school sick and mad as hell until a certan B**** got me suspended the day before 11th grade finals, luckily I got to come in the next Saturday and make them up.
Can you tell I did a lot of smoking back then. Smoking and heavy metal and too much hair spray.

| |  Michael Jackson's Thriller album and all the songs on it was probably my favorite. Kids who see Michael Jackson today just can't imagine what a statement he made back in the '80s. He was truly a genius in both music and dance before he changed his face and got so wierd.

| |  I'm only 24 but I love the 80's - I was too little to get most of it when I was a kid, but I love revisiting the good old times. I remember watching The Care Bears Movie in kindergarten and also, just in time for the holidays, Prancer! I also have the old CBS version of The Red Nosed Reindeer, I watch it every year as tradition.
