Don't you appreciate the fact that our government is trying its best to keep us safe from the nuts in this world? We may not like how this is being done (I am against the situation in Iraq as much as most other people are), and we may not particularly like the elected president right now, but the point is that they are working to keep us safe.

| | I just read the article. I'm very disappointed in Southwest Airlines. I hope that she sues the airline and wins. This is supposed to be a free country, and I don't see where that shirt was any more offensive than a lot of what people are wearing (in fact, it was pretty funny). That's part of being American- you can wear offensive t-shirts where there is no dress code; it's called "freedom of speech".

| |  Why didn't you mention that the T-Shirt was vulgar and that the airline specifically said they wouldn't let her fly because her shirt had swear words on it. That's just profane, that isn't censorship.
Not to mention that everyone claiming "the government" controls everything, remember that this airline isn't run by the government and has nothing to do with the government.
You honestly think people can't ride public transportation with anti-Bush shirts on? I'm sure it happens all the time.
