for you dad  

On Oct. 25, 2003 my father died suddenly from a heart attack. He was 65 years old. It's been hard on me. The only thing that I can recover is to talk to my father if he was with us in the room. This is what I had to say: "Dad, I really miss you. I love you. I know that we had a good relationship, and I know that you knew how I loved you. I just wish that I told you more often."

Dad…..you held me as a baby
You gave me a doll as my little sister
Taught me to fly a pretty kite

You loved the summer weather
The sun, the warmth and fresh air
I can see you sitting on the sofa you bought with the paper

You always said "Hi baby"
I can see you in my mind
Always right there to help me, so loving and so kind

Mom told me that you have a theme song for me
"You are the love of my life"
The first time i heard it, I cried because the meaning of the lyrics

You worked so hard,
My dad so brave and strong
One day you got retired, something was terribly wrong

Mom died and you got sick
And I developed a special bond with you
I wanted to take care of you, for it's all I felt I could do

I received a phone call & got me surprised
You were in the hospital
Your heart attack took you October 25th of the year 2003

I didn't saw the last breath you took
I wasn't there at the very end
I cried 'Daddy, go to Heaven' I miss you, my father, my friend~
