I had my first child young but the way I look at it is I will still be young when she turns 18 and for all of yall older parents you waited until you had your education and career taken care of. In my opion these are both good times to have children. I think!

I was a late bloomer and really always said I never wanted kids. My husband and I always used protection even though some doctors had told my huband he couldn't have kids.
Well one 4th of July weekend we decided to spend the weekend alone just the two of us locked inour house naked and watching North and South Book One and Two and also The Stand.
So of course one thing leads to another and for some reason I decided not to make him put on protection. 9 months later we had a beautifu daughter. That is the only time in the 14 years we have been together that we have not used protection.
I was 29 when I had her. I cannot believe now that I ever said I didn't want kids. I love being a mom and she is the very best thing ever.
On the other hand, my twin sister had her kids in her teens and now she is going to be a Grandma while she is actually still young enough to really enjoy it.
I agree that it works both ways. there is some good to having kids young and some good to waiting until you are older.
Either way it is hard but that is part of parenting.
