Ghost Ship - After discovering a passenger ship missing since 1962 floating adrift on the Bering Sea, salvagers claim the vessel as their own. Once they begin towing the ghost ship towards harbor, a series of bizarre ocurrences happen and the group becomes trapped inside the ship, which they soon learn is inhabited by a demonic creature.

mine was ghost ship, really scares me to death. GHOST SHIP When Canadian Air Force pilot Jack Ferriman recruits the team to investigate a mysterious vessel he has spotted floating adrift off the coast of Alaska in a remote region of the Bering Sea, they discover the remains of the fabled Antonia Graza, thought lost at sea for more than 40 years. It's a hell of a find # the salvage rights alone could be worth a fortune. And by the law of the sea, any vessel discovered on international waters can be claimed by whomever is fortunate enough to find her and skilled enough to haul her back to port. But once onboard the eerie, cavernous ship, the crew of the Arctic Warrior discovers that the decaying vessel is anything but deserted. It's home to something more deadly and horrific than anything they've encountered in all their years at sea.

i love this discussion topic as i am a horror movie crazy-fan :) so hard to name only one film, but if i had to for sure ringu, japanese version. but also, argento`s stendhal syndrome, hitchcock`s the birds, park`s tale of two sisters (korean film), perfect blue, which is in fact an animated cartoon psychological horror movie. and i can definitely say that no american-made films (other than the birds) even come close to these films. i actually attend a horror movie festival every summer, and get to see some really AMAZING movies from all over the world.

ohhhh i love argento too!!!! phenomena is VERY good. i also love phantom of the opera, trauma, and sindrome di stendhal!! and risktaker, he is an italian film maker. his movies are creepy and bloody! usually there is a surprise ending, kind of detective story style. phenomena is available in most good video stores, but the others might be a bit harder to find, depending which country you live in.

13 Ghosts freaked me out. Ghost Ship was crazy! I liked it too. The beginning, when everyone gets sliced? I almost threw up! And also when they're eating the old cans of beans that seem fresh, but suddenly they "wake up" to reality and realize it's all maggots!
