| |  I don't know what those regulations are or how it's related to anti-female legistalation, but I agree to the extent that parents need to act responsibly if children have access to a computer in their homes, it may not stop all the problems,but with some of the software available at the moment - those that can monitor not only sites that are visited but chats and emails etc. - it's not hard for parents to at least take some preventitive measures.

| | I actually wrote a short article about this a little while ago - you're right that the internet can be a scary place, but if used wisely it's a great advantage to kids nowadays.
There's several steps a parent can take to avoid many of the dangerous elements that can be found on the net (from porn to viruses) they just need to both get their computer set up correctly first and then use some common sense as far as their kids are concerned: don't leave your child unattended while they are online, make sure you have some sort of protection on your computer etc. just to name a few.
