Alfalfa is considered "The Father of All Foods" and is highly nutritional. It contains 10% Protein, 75% Calcium, 85% Iron, 45% Magnesium, 14% Phosphorus and 25% Potassium.

Alfalfa can be eaten as sprouts or as a powdered form. The powdered alfalfa contains vitamins A, B-1, B-6, B-12, C, E, K-1, Niacin, Pantothenic Acid, Biotin, Folic Acid, as well as many essential and nonessential amino acids.

Try and incorporate Alfalfa into your diet when you can.

Alfalfa prevents hardening of the arteries. Research has shown that when alfalfa meal was fed to monkeys who had high cholesterol levels, it stopped them from getting atherosclerosis and it also reduced the serum cholesterol levels.

The strong chlorophyll content in Alfalfa was also used by doctors in the 1940's to treat infections resulting from surgical incisions, bed sores and inner ear problems.

Finally, Alfalfa improves the condition of diabetics who failed to respond to Insulin if it also includes manganese. 2 capsules, 2-3 times daily will be sufficient.
