hey all, i am keen on knowing some of most unusual places to travel, places which are not big on the tourist map, but would be worth visiting. here is my experience. i recently visited Kingdom of Bhutan, a place not explored by many, and a very well kept secret by the king of bhutan (zigme singe wonchuk) to retain in serenity, do you know that first time the citizen of Bhutan saw TV was in 1991. the country still retains the olden days charm, and refreshes you with its freshness. the country is culturally rich, the pattern of costume which is age old is still followed by all the residents. bhutanese follow buddhism as religion (mahayana buddhism)and the traditional lakhang & Goembas (buddhist monastries/place for worshipping) are good examples of great architecture of Bhutan, the administrative buildings (dzong) are brilliant designs, and talks well of creativity & culture of Bhutan . the travel through the winding roads of himalayas and the forest which has varied coloured flora is a treat to your eyes, amazing waterfalls which is the most comman things in Bhutan would make you go crazy for the first 2 days till you get used to seeing atleast one beautiful natural waterfall every hour you travel upcountry .. so guys happy touring the Kingdom of Bhutan .. bon voyage.. i would be uploading some of the pics of Bhutan soon

I am keen to hear more about the unusual and beautiful country of Bhutan. I like the sound of its olden days charm and refreshing scenic landscapes. I saw some photos from a tourist that went there and I liked the houses they have their, the mountainous views and the picturesque waterfalls.
Samoa is a place in the South Pacific Ocean and it isn't visited by many tourists. It has cool waterfalls, white sand beaches, green rain forest and unspoilt islands. I am pleased to say that it is reasonably priced compared to the other places in that region. It can be reached from Los Angeles or Auckland on Air Zealand.
In Europe I recommend Montenegro. It has a stunning looking fjord and an old town called Kator. I liked seeing its beautiful looking coastline and I didn't see many tourists there at all. It was budget priced and I got a private room for ten euros a night.
