led zeppelin...true legends?  

well are they real , if yes they are wonderful!

heya, Led Zeppelin are my all time favourite band. So therefor i definatly think they are legends. As to the other big faces in rock are you talking about Rolling Stones, Beatles and Black Sabbath? just to name a few? Well i do like these bands but not as much as i like Led Zeppelin. If only i had been around to see a concert that would have been awesome but i am too young. I also like many newer bands but Zep were the original pioneers for me. Tanika.

Led Zeppelin is my all time favorite too! I've been listening to them since the 1970's. They are definitely legends. I have seen interviews with other bands that said that Led Zeppelin was a huge influence on their music. I think partly because Zeppelin went to other areas of music that not many bands go to. They incorporated sounds from all over the world into their music giving their music such a unique sound. I have seen Robert Plant and Jimmy Page live in concert twice and when they take the stage it is like seeing living gods. They give off an aura that shows what mega superstars they are. It's quite astounding really. I had been listening to them all of my life and seeing them on stage was so much more than I expected. And to hear the songs done live, it made me cry!!! I just couldn't help it. The most famous rock band in the world and there they were playing the songs LIVE!!! It was very emotional for me. They are the greatest rock legend in the history of rock!!!

They were unique in their style, pioneers in hard rock and most successful. I think Robert Plant had a great voice and was the perfect singer for their kind of music also they weren´t not just mainstream they also added other musical genres to their music.
Every member of the band added his musical background to form
this great band and they also influenced a lot coming after them, just listen to the beginings of Van Halen. Have you ever seen their movie "the song remains the same" if not go and watch it, it´s marvellous . It´s like a live documention.

Led Zeppelin in my opinion is the best group period. They are truly the pioneers of rock. I started listening to them when i was about 10. Jimmy page is also the greatest guitarists of all time.
