Have you ever had a "friends with benefits" situation turn into an actual romanc

one's long time ago, make me very sad if i remember again

Happened to me in college. HOT guy, fun to be around, part of 'the gang', and great to, well...'experience extra curricular activities' with. We had rules...no sleeping over (my idea), no discussing with our other friends anything that we may or may not have done (um...again, my idea), no strings attached, no 'date nights' or girlfriend/boyfriend obligatory party attendances, no awkward gift exchanges or anniversary celebrations (hmmm...again my idea). ...wait...I'm seeing a pattern here. Sh*t. Maybe it WAS my fault in retrospect. I was on a rebound - what did I know?!?!?! Anyway...then the holidays came - and the next thing I knew, he wanted me to meet his parents. WHOA horsey! Back the truck up! Where the heck did THAT come from? God I felt like crap. He cried. It was awful. I felt like the slimiest snake. I swear I didn't lead him on and was very clear in what the 'boundaries' were - but there you are. Guys can get just as attached as girls...and girls can feel pretty yuckky when they realize that they may have led him on. Great...now I feel like crap all over again.
