Is 'The Alchemist' really inspiring?

Personally, for me I absolutely loved the end.
I'd be lying if I said it wasn't inspiring.
But, I've had a friend who thought the book wasn't good.
So, was the book really worth the Inspiration?

Hey, Paulo Coelho's fanatic! I am definitely very inspired by the book "The Alchemist". It is something worth reading. You feel good after reading the book. It seemed that it brought a new meaning to your life and how you will handle any situaations that will come along the way. After reading the book, I immediately look for the other books of Mr. Coelho. I read "Veronika Decides to Die". Its also good, but still, "The Alchemist" is one poweful book for me. Its one of the best book that I'd read. Keep on reading Mr. Coelho's books, they are all worth reading.
