Final Fantasy Series

I don't know about "most played" but FF12 is THE hottest title right now for PS2. I haven't played it personally but I watched my sister play it halfway through. The new gambit system is really great, the storyline - creative and the graphics are the best. I have played and finished final fantasy 6,7,8,9,X,X2,dirge of cerberus and chronicles. Personally, the storyline I loved the most so far is 7 because Aerith was killed by Sephiroth and tragedy doesn't usually occur in most RPG games.

FF12 is really the coolest of all the series (FF8 used to be my personal pick).

The gameplay is superb, the gambits makes fighting easier. What's better is, random encounter with enemies is gone. The problem with the way I play it is too much use of MP. I seldom use magicks (Yes, that's how it's spelled in the game) stocked in items. Plus, I had trouble with maximizing the use of the Espers (equivalent to Guardian Force= FF8 or Aeons=FF10).

I'm not into the storyline that much because it's too political and the mushy love story part falls down to 0% (though, it's somewhat okay).

FF7 is probably the most popular, and the movie FF7: Advent Children make sit even more mainstream. Oh well, I'm not really a big fan of FF7.

i like FF8 to be remake in PS2 or any console of Play station hehehe
i love FFX too

not quite right the most played game world wide i dragon quest series or maybe counter-strike. but what the hell, definetely FF 7, it is the one that give square the recognition from the western gamer.

I love FFX...The FMV is cool you know...the hottest kiss of Yuna and Tidus.
