Pop Idol or Star Academy?

Star academy is the 2ND MOST EXPANDED REALITY SHOW IN THE WORLD (after Big Brother being number 1) with 50 countries to air/have the version. While, Pop Idol is the 3RD MOST EXPANDED REALITY SHOW IN THE WORLD, with 35 countries that air/have the version. But many of us thought that Pop Idol is bigger than Star Academy, because of the popularity of American Idol, which is the US version of Pop Idol. But in Europe & other countries, their version of Star Academy has higher ratings than their version of Pop Idol. Unluckily, in USA, American Idol is their #1 show while The One (US version of Star Academy) was being cancelled because of poor ratings. USA’s TV ratings are the basis of many of us. But if you gonna look the TV ratings of other countries, you will know, Star Academy is more popular than Pop Idol. One example is the Philippines, Pinoy Dream Academy got 40+% while Philippine Idol only got 10+% (nationwide TV ratings). But for you, what do you think is the better?
