story of adidas and puma.

the person who created the company adidas is a german man by the name of adi dassler. if you stick the two names together and take off "sler" at the end of the last name you get "adidas". Adi Dassler's brother Rudolf, then went off to create his own company called puma. on some of the classical shoes of puma, you can see his name imprinted on the toungue, especially soccer shoes. it says "rudolf dassler". interesting huh? two popular sports companies are siblings.

Do you know the real story? They both formed the company called adidas. Business was good, and in fact it proved to be very successful that a lot of cash started pouring in. Then the two had an argument about money and operational control. It got so bad that they decided to break up with rudolph forming his own company called puma. So you see, it really is a story about sibling rivalry more than two successful brothers in the shoe business.
