Are wireless keyboards and mice safe?

They say they're encrypted, but can someone, like a neighbor, decipher the signals somehow and see personal data? Or is the signal too far for the neighbor?

Yes.The range between your neighbour and your wireless reciever is too far to reach.

yes they are because they are short distance and they are just key strokes
