anyone into this hobby?  

I have a friend who was way into rc planes, when I was into rockets, I'd always see the guys racing rc cars on the track out behind our hobby shop, it looked pretty sweet. Is the fuel that they run on, Nitro, is that nitromethane? I know that a lot of race cars use nitromethane for fuel.

i'm very much interested in this hobby... i would like to know from where and for what cost you bought those cars. As a first step i would like to go for a rc helicopter and after that i'll look for Nirto Cars. Do you know any one who sell these online and who is ready to ship it to India? i inquired about in lot of sites, but no one was willing to ship it to india. I want a site which accepts paypal and ready to ship it to india..

I've had 5 nitro cars as well as a couple electric ones. In order of purchase: Monster Gt, RC10gt, Evader St, Stampede, 4-Tec, Maximum St, and Sandmaster MKII. I've also spent money on micro electric helis namley a Trex 450x, Shogun 400, and a Hirobo XRB Lama. The Trex is the most capable of the micro helis. To get it ready to fly and after building it I probably spent around 1100 US Dollars.
