I went there a couple years ago while dating someone there that I met online. It was really nice there and it was warm and there was plenty of things to do. I loved the beaches and water. They have nice shopping malls and movie theatres. It was a very relaxing place.

I am from NC but I live in Puerto Rico.. for a year now. I love it, I don't have any plans on going back to the states any time soon. The people are great, the food is good, and the water is amazing. If you have the chance to move here, take it.

That is great that you love there. It is very beautiful there and warm and the people are nice there. I loved the beaches, the shopping malls and other sites there. I did not get to see everything there while I was dating someone there so I will have to go again.

I was born and raised in Puerto Rico and I can tell you that it has the friendliest people ever!!!
That picture of that beach you have on your profile, is that Luquillo? It is probably one, if not THE most popular beach in the island.
I havent been to Puerto Rico in many years and i do miss it, especially during Christmas which is the most festive time to go.
Im glad to hear that you liked going there. Im proud of my island!
Thanks for the topic!

Thank you for sharing that you were born and raised there. It is very beautiful there and I was dating someone that lived there and her family still lives there. Me and her are not dating anymore but I did have a good time while I was there. The beach is Luquillo and I loved it at this beach. You are welcome for the topic. Hopefully we both will have the opportunity to go there again.

I did not know that you had posted this question, I would have come here right away. I'm trying to tell other 2 Puerto Ricans about it though. Well I am 100% Boricua except for my grandfather who is Cuban, so that might make me 95%. LOL! Anyway, there is no other place in the world I think with the fresh air, tropical breezes and nice people than Puerto Rico. InPuerto Rico, at least 95% of the Puerto Ricans whom I am sure of, are not racists or disriminate against religions. I lived there basically all my life except when I was in the armed forces, and and while working as teacher in IL. Now I'm in the south. I got married here and finished my degree and you don't know how much I wish to live there again with my husband and kids.It is so boring here! Everything you need to do, is close to you. Malls, beaches, everything. I miss Fort El Morro, I miss walking throughout Old San Juan and getting there a PiƱa colada. I am originally from the north, but I loved the south too, Ponce. Well, I will give a chance to the others and keep writing. Bye!

This is great to hear and I agree with you that Puerto Rico is very beautiful and the people that I met there are really nice. Most places were close to where my ex girlfriend was living at the time and only had to drive to a few places. It was warm and pleasant there and the beaches are wonderful as well. There is a lot to do and see. Hope that you get to go back there, whether to live or to visit.

I was born in Puerto Rico. Even though I moved up to the states when I was very young, I would visit almost every year. I love going and visiting my island. It is just a very beautiful place!! I hope to go back soon!
