To be honest I don't think it is safe anywhere anymore but we have to get on with Life and just make sure that we are careful and have security in your home

I have never lived in America so maybe I am the wrong person to answer your question. I have however lived on my own in some major European cities and found it safe enough. Of course, you need to be careful but that applies anywhere in the world, make sure you live in a good neighbourhood and avoid "dangerous" areas especially at night time.

The world is not yet safe for a woman to live alone and securely. Whichever place we go in the world we always need to be more cautious. Single woman should always take extra care so that they may live safely. And i always feel that it is ver difficult for a woman to live alone.

When I was single I did live in the city all by myself and never worried a moment. It is safe to live anywhere as long as you use your head about how you carry yourself. I never had a problem living alone in the city. And I am a lady!
