Is it stupid for Americans to go to Amsterdam to get hi?  | |  It really depends. I mean on one hand it is illegal to do it here in the states so Amsterdam can offer that feeling of libeartion. On the other hand you can pretty much get away with smoking pot in America if you do it quietly so why waste a grand on a plane ticket to go to Amsterdam if you don't want to indulge in anything besides smoking pot?

Also, there are a lot more than "coffee shops" there. If all you want to do is smoke pot, just stay hush hush, and get in with the right crowd for the good stuff here.
