| Stained vs. Painted Wood | | | | What way do you prefer the wood in your home? I really like the natural look of dark wood stains or even something along the lines of a maple or cherry wood stain. I think painted wood looks too fake and sometimes industrial. | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |

| | Hi, Thundercat! I don't like the look of painted wood, either, especially kitchen cabinets. It's probably because I used to own a house and all the kitchen cabinets and most of the woodwork was painted. Even if it's lesser quality wood, I still prefer the look of the wood to paint! :-) | | | | | | | | | | No Need For Shave Cream Discover The New 5 Bladed Venus® Razor with Olay® Moisture Bars! www.GilletteVenus.com | add comment | | | |

| | I like the lighter stained woods like golden oak. Or the natural color just clear coated. I can understand why people like painted items becuase it can bring color into a dull lifeless room. Especially a kids room kids use solors to help them express something about themselves as we adults to we just use it in vases, flowers, paintings, pictures, pillows,etc.. My house is full of oak stained items and everyone loves them I think sometimes the darker woods can be to dark and heavy. It would take alot of color to brighten a room with the dark stained woods. Not that they aren't beautiful they are. But that is everyones choice. | | | | | | | | | | Cosmetology+Beauty School What's your new year's resolution? An amazing career?
