do you believe in past lives?

I believe in past lives and feel very strongly about reincarnation. I feel we have all had past lives and have chosen the obstacles that we will face in this life. I feel everything good and bad that has happened to us was chosen by our souls before we entered this life. I also feel that the people in our lives that have the most impact like family/friends are part of the people we go through are lives with and have been with us in previous lives. What do you think about this and does anyone else believe in past lives?

I believe that we have had past lives, but I believe that they do not really matter to the current one. I think we just decided to have another go at the merry go round.
