15 year old girl gives birth in school!  

A 15 year old girl having sex isn't illegal. What's illegal is if the guy was over 18. But girls having sex at 15 isn't illegal by any means.

It is sad, yes, that 15 year old girls are now starting to be reckless with their behavior, and I'm glad that nothing too drastic happened what with it happening at a Catholic school.

This is indeed WRONG. A child should not be having a child. Heck, there some adults that shouldn't have children.

This is a hard lesson for this young lady.

I know being a father of two and any other parents, having children is no easy task.

Live and learn I guess.

Look for sure it i suppose it is wrong in our standards, but give the girl a break. all you people are going on is an article written by someone you dont know, and half of the information is cut out. Who knows if this girl knew she was pregnant and to be quite honest....is it any of our business? Another interesting question is, do parents discuss sex and precautions well enough these days, or do they expect their teenage children to get all of their information off the O.C so to speak? I am just looking at it from her point of view as i had a child at seventeen, i fell pregnant with her at sixteen. I did fall pregnant with my first sexual relationship and i am still with him. Just think of it as, there are people all over the world that have babies at a really early age.... like it or not.

This was all over the papers a week or so ago, and she didnt give birth in class, it was in the medical room. I gather from the reports that she claimed she didnt know she was pregnant. Whether that is indeed true only she can know

how did she hide it thats what I want to know. Its hard unless she was kind of chubby to start with.

probally was fat most. fat girls already look pregnant.

april that was kinda rude dont you think? havent you ever watched tv? some thin girls can hide pregnancy under baggy clothes and some dont gain alot of weight i only gained 34 pounds in my pregnany some SMALL GIRLS just dont get huge...

A 15 year old should not be having a baby when she is a baby herself. I agree that she could have hid it. Regardless of her weight. But it makes me curious. How out of touch are we with our children that we can't notice them being pregnant. Or is it just ignored by the parent.

Why is it assumed that no one knew? It never said that this came as a surprise to anyone.
I agree that April was being rude about fat girls looking pregnant. That type of comment really doesn't have a place here.

Well, true. But most religions are against it. Unfortunately, that doesn't really stop people these days. And what good is religion if a kid isn't listening or doesn't care? And has no respect for themselves and chooses not to wait (until they're at least old enough to care for a child on their own, w/out help from their parents?)

That is why I had to stop watching shows like Jerry Springer, Maury, etc.. OMG. For the longest time it's like all I saw were teens (young teens) who were like "I'm going to die if I don't get pregnant!". They seemed to think that nobody else loved them, so they'd create somebody to love them. Forget about the fact they can't even support themselves, let alone another person. Forget the fact that this would probably mean they have to put off school- and in many cases, will probably drop out of school. There is so much to think about, and yet these kids DON'T think about it. And they think they know everything.. so it's like who can tell them any different?

i agree with you you see more and more young girls getting pregent and having babies and it is getting worse
