why marriage do not sustain for longer period in west?

its simply because of difference in outlook that in western countries there are more divorces than it is in india.people in the west have more adiction to freedom of indivuduality specially the females,they are very indivudualistic and they dont bow down to male dominance that easily and this leads to misunderstanding and clash..which is not there in eastern countries.according to me this is the main reason that in western countries there are more divorces as compared to india.

I think that in the West it might be easier to leave an unhappy marriage with less of a social stigma attached, especially for women. I do not think that most marriages in the west would end because it appears to be "fashionable" to obtain a divorce in Hollywood. Cheers!
