Have you ever been to the Garlic Festival in Gilroy, CA?

I spent my high school years in Gilroy and they have a once a year festival for garlic lovers called The Garlic Festival. Great place to eat all the garlic you want and not be self conscious of the bad breath. I was just curious to find out if anyone has been there and what was the most enjoyable part of it.

I have not been to the International Garlic Festival in Gilroy, but I have been to Gilroy. And yes, you can actually smell the garlic when you get out of the car. It doesn't smell bad though. I stopped once as I was driving up to San Francisco.

LOL...I remember growing up there and waiting for the bus to take me to school and you could smell the garlic and also tomatoes because they also grow tomatoes, and it would smell like somebody was cooking a big pot of spaghetti. lol!!!
