my card was accessed a month ago. i saw on my bank statement that there was a transaction i never did. so i called up my bank and asked them about it. They said it was done on a swipe machine. That isn't possible because I have never used my card on a swipe machine. how is this possible? do you think the bank has something to do with it?

it happened to me too...from a call center agent in the philippines..they called me and offer phone cards and etc..i trusted her because she's my sister's friend and she's really nice so i decided to get phonecards from her and i became a regular customer for 6 months...after that, she started to charge my card and order stuff from their company, she took 600 dollars from my account...so beware of them..dont trust anyone....

They could have misentered the number at the bank. It's possible. I had both of my credit cards, my ATM card and checks stolen from my checkbook a few weeks back. The thieves used both of my credit cards and my ATM card without my permission and managed to rack up over $1500 in gas purchase alone. Both my credit card companies closed both of the cards and issued me credits on those charges. I had to sign an affidavit stating I did not make the charges, and I was glad to do so.
