| Your fly line hits the water, your fly disappears, a split second later... | | | | and the water exploded and your heart jumps right into your throat. "Fish on!!" Have fun, quickly take a picture or two and let it go. Back to fight another day. I start this post as a very serious post about my heart condition. A condition that has kept me from wetting a line for three years now, but we don't need another sad post. So instead I started thinking of past days on the water and how relaxing and excited it was and will be again once my strength is back. Those who can relate to fly fishing a stream for bass, trout, salmon and even pike will know what I am missing but the memories are strong and vivid. I would love to hear a few good fly fishing stories that involve that feeling of tranquility and explosive action that I am so longing for. BTW: My hair has not been cut since the day of my first heart attack. As you can see in my picture it needs cutting, but it ain't gonna happen until I next yell. "FISH ON !!" | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | | |
