Volume of traffic for content sites based on subscription

Hi We are poor developers of unique software. We wish to create a site based on content/subscription and PPC advertising (amongst other forms of marketing). We have approached a venture capitalist with our product, a full business plan, P&L projections etc. etc. Thus far the VC is happy with everything that we have presented and is willing to go the extra mile... but he needs to see the actual volume of traffic, CTR etc had by a variety of other content sites. Basically we have given this guy everything including the 'kitchen sink' to show that our business plan and model will fly. He simply needs to see that the numbers we are predicting in the early stages of business are within the ball park of reasonable possibility. Is there anyone out there who can point us in the direction of getting stats/numbers for the traffic of a variety of different content sites both large and small. Our business loosely speaking is within the entertainment/dating/personal growth areas. Signed Desperate and frustrated Tristan ...any help will be greatly appreciated.
