Should Bush be impeached? and his agents exposed? US government watchdogs have lobbied for the impeachment of President George Bush for his blocking investigation of secret government programs. Namely the US Domestic Spying Program, which branches of the government have asked to have access to for determining its extent and control of abuses of the surveillance capabilities? Is Bush afraid of letting people see how their secret surveillance program works, for fear that he may have to admit to larger and more serious secret programs. The US government has publicly denied the existence of its Global Surveillance Network named Echelon, and yet some newspapers have reported stories on Echelon and its massive scope and workings. Should Bush be impeached for hiding from people what they have the right to know? Should Bush be impeached for preventing investigation of secret programs which trample on the fundamental rights and freedoms of people? Echelon is no secret any longer. Is it torture when friends, family, strangers, coworkers and all, through back to people, their own private conversations? Is this just a sadistic nightmare or is it torture? Is it torture when a person’s private affairs are secretly obtained to manipulate their life to the point of severe depression, and highest levels of stress anxiety? Is it torture when a person’s most private feelings are methodically antagonized and oppressed to destroy their emotional state, and then frame them for an attempted suicide? Is it torture to subject a person to this kind of existence and then deny them any recourse via law enforcement, human rights groups or any other assistance?” Like any secret government program, its power and effectiveness comes from its secrecy. I had the opportunity to read CIA DIARY, INSIDE THE COMPANY written by Philip Agee which gives a listing of CIA employees, agents, and collaborators and organizations controlled, financed and influenced by the CIA. Is the Bush Administration or are some Puppet Masters trying to prevent similar information about Echelon and participants of it, to be shared with the public? SUBURBAN SPIES reveals people in legitimate government and private sector positions who are part of a focused collusion to prevent the exercise of democratic freedoms and rights.
