Well, as promised, I am re visiting the subject, post doctor visit. ok, here it goes. back up to february 06. I had surgery to lazer off endomitriosis which was at a stage 3/4 and should have resulted in a hysterectomy but didn't because he wanted to save my stuff incase i wanted more kids. well after the surgery i started hormonal treatment to put me through menopause (sorry for the spelling) so i could buy myself some time to get pregnant again after the treatment. well 5 months in the pain returned and he stopped the shots. i went on bc pill called seasonale and have been on that since august. my more severe symptoms looking back, really only started after march. my drop in productivity at work, really being lazy at home, crying all the time, packing on more pounds and the list goes on. so i talked to him yesterday about everything that had gone on and he said that the depression is likely being brought on by the bc pills and the treatment shots that i was taking before. he kept me on the bc pills but gave me lexAPRO for the depression and said that I need the hysterectomy to get past the pain. i'm putting off the hysterectomy for a couple of months at least because we have a girl going on maternity leave in february and i don't want to leave the office short handed and since the hysterectomy is not something that needs to be done to prevent cancer or anything life threatening, he said that's ok. Anyway, I had an overwhelming response to the first discussion and wanted to let everyone know what went on wednesday and keep you all posted. Thanks to everyone for the kind remarks and all your postings! Oh and 1 more thing, he did tell me that i HAVE to excercise to get better lol! I got a bike for Christmas so i told him i would ride it at least twice a week to start off with. Thanks again all!

Thanks for posting again. If you can handle the symptoms while you put off the surgery, it sounds like a good plan. You are considerate to think of others you work with. I hope they are as supportive of you. With this postponement you have the time to get in a little better shape, either riding the bike or walking. Go for it, and keep us posted.
