big cats in uk ive seen one

walking home one sunday afternoon with my young son,we decided to take a shortcut through a small local wood.as walking we saw a large panther type cat run down the hill,it stopped looked at us,then jumped up a tree.while we ran off like you would,i said to my son who was 6 what do u think that was.black panther he replied.this was in a small village in leeds,was reported and was in local paper. anyone else seen one,becase all my mates dont belive me.but it is true
