i really like the movie THE TERMINAL (Tom Hunks)

Hi, I din't watch that movie, but Iwill watch it.

something similar incident happened to one of my officemates... she was travelling to Europe when her connecting flight got cancelled and the next available flight was on the following day... she couldn't go out of the airport because she has no visa... she was stuck in the airport until her next flight, she ate and slept at the airport...

i dont saw that movie . so i cannot know any thing .sorry .

i too liked this movie " the terminal". in fact its one of the best movies i have ever watched. Tom Hanks have proved his caability once again. the story was very touchy indeed.

Without a doubt, go see this movie - It shows what a good director and actor can do together with an excellent cast and crew. Take one man that lands in JFK and gets stuck there until the US Government can figure out what to do with his status. This is a story about people - how people can be kind, rude and thoughtful to another in a given situation. What better setting than in JFK, NYCs biggest airport and home to international travelers every day. I Loved it to the end.

The acting was good, but not ocsar stuff. Hanks plays his part excellent, especially in the beginning sceens. He does his role to a T. Being a foreign Kirkosian, he does the what it takes to get by being stuck at JFK. Later you meet Zeta-Jones and she does her typical acting role, not like in Chicago. She plays an airline attendant and has run-ins with Hanks thru the movie. The best is Tucci's character as the Chief US Govenment director in training is excellent - He plays a bad guy to Hanks thru the movie, and its funny how the two counter each other thru the show. The rest of the cast is also excellent, and gives the movie what its all about - People, from the janitor, the luggage guy, the food deliverer guy and the US Agents, its all about people.

The only part that didnt set well with me was the very end of the show - NO i am not going to say what happens, but I will say that it didnt leave a good taste in my mouth and wish it were done differently - but again, its a movie about people and thier habbits and thoughts, wishes and dreams.

Overall, go see this show, you wont regret it

THE TERMINAL is a difficult movie to score - it is a highly entertaining film, very well crafted, with a dazzling set of actors in the leads and comprimario roles, and has a nice take on the microcosm of the airport as the confines of the universe - and for all the feel-good Steven Spielbergisms it engenders, there is still something that makes it not quite score a full five. The set is fantastic and very well used. The line between comedy and absurdity and tragedy is pretty well delineated, but there are a few too many bleeps in the continuity of the tale (and the characters) to overlook.Tom Hanks proves again that he can create a memorable character as Viktor, a simple man with a mission who finds himself entrapped in JKF airport by an accidental loss of his country to villainous overthrow and is kept 'prisoner' by the upwardly mobile Customs agent Frank Dixon.
