Well said. Let me add this. If there is no God, and you believe in Him, what harm was that? If there is a God, and you don't believe, do you think you want to take a chance and loose your salvation and end up you know where.

Those are very good questions for anyone to ask when it comes to their eternal life. Believing is better than not believing when you put it that way. I'm thankful that I am a believer and I know that I don't have anything to lose by choosing God.

yeah awesome your very right GOD is very gentle HE never and will never compel us in anything... but we being His childeren have to follow HIS WORDS given in the BIBLE!!!!

That's what I have been saying. God does not compel anybody to believe in Him. But those who believe in Him, the Christians are commanded to preach the Word. Preaching is an element of salvation used by God to call His children. Faith comes by hearing the Word of God. I am a Christian and so I do His will. It is not forbidden in myLot to post disscussions on the Holy Bible so I take this opportunity. i believe in God and i pray to him each and every day and night . Even when my children sit down at the table they on their own bow their heads and pray " God is good God is great Let us thank Him for our food AMEN!!!

That is the beauty of Heavenly Father's plan, we do have the gift of being able make our own choices. There is no sitting on the fence. You are either in one group on another. I am thankful that he loved me and trusted me enough to give me a choice. It is struggle that must be met head on each day of our lives. We cannot give in nor give up the fight to be better today than we were the day before. I just love the saying "It is better to be better than you were than to be better than someone else." To me that saying is reminding me to not try to compare myself to anyone else just concentrate on Me and I will make it, With Heavenly Father's help, I will make it. So My goal is to be better today than I was yesterday!
