why hollywood movies are not real like like "city of god"?

Yea i don't think people really care about what happens in other countries. And i also think that they care more about entertainment. People would rather see fiction like War of the Worlds, Matrix, IRobot, and Mission Impossible. Another part of it is that from a young age we Americans don't learn much world history. We mostly focus on US History. There is so much more out there than what happens here.

I think films like that are good as after I watched it I had a different view about Brazil and also about the world and how different peoples lives can be from one another. Also, it was made brilliantly and kept me glued to the screen all the way through. Saying that there is hardly any recent films that have the same affect.

Exactly, i agree with you..B'coz after all these are the invention of the people of world so how can it be as of city of god..

its because ppl care abt the life of ppl who arent famous and poor too..jus not like hollywood where single mindness is on money
