Did you have a special dinner for New Year's Eve?

It is actually New Year's Day here in Australia and we had New Year's Eve yesterday. LOL We didn't go out but instead stayed with our son plus some friends came around for a few hours. We had a bar-b-que tea, talked and generally enjoyed each other's company. I made an assortment of salads to go with the bar-b-qued meat and friends bought a Chocolate Mud Cake as well as a Pavlova for dessert. :)

That sounds absolutely delicious!! I made some bacon-wrapped scallops for a specialty appetizer and my mother made lasagna. this year we had a good time feasting on appetizers since we started later in the evening

Nope, nothing special just whatever it was for dinner that night.

My sister-in-law does a big bash for new year's eve where everyone brings something, plus we pay for the BBQ. I made my famous spinach dip and there was none left! We had a theme party - a hippy night! We had a ball:)

My boyfriends father took us out to dinner tonight at a restaurant. I got the lasagna and garlic bread. It was so good. I ended up having to bring some home because I was too full to eat it all. For tomorrow night, my boyfrined bought some pork chops and he is going to cook them on the grill. I can't wait.

my family ate our last meal for 2006 at a buffet restaurant in a five-star hotel... the food was superb as always... we were suprised when the bill came out, since it was a special day, the buffet rate was doubled than usual...
