will an Indian film win an Oscar?

That's very tough to say.What Indian films lack is an internationally success rate.In the foreign language category in which LAGAAN was nominated and RANG DE BASANTI will be competing this year.I think,India always has a good chance.But competition is getting tougher.hope India will win in the near future.What you say?

Why v need oscuar?....who/how they can judge our films without knowing our culture/nativity/religion/customes?
