I was saddened to learn that Hussein was put to death. I know that he was not a kind person and that he was perceived as a perpetrator of crimes against humanity. Though many celebrated his death, many other grieved. I feel a deep sadness and wonder if it would not have been more humane (since he was no longer a threat to anyone) to confine him to prison until he died naturally. What do you think?
