Star Wars Book

I have read the book version of star wars,I mean the first star wars series. They were really good. Actually it is those books that increased my interest in the series. So,I would like to know is there any books available for the new star war series also? If it is available,can you please tell me?

I recommend the Timothy Zahn Star Wars books. Those start with Heir To The Empire. Those take place after the events of Return Of The Jedi, and involve all the regular characters of Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, etc. It was the Zahn books that got the whole Star Wars book thing going. They are really excellent. Wish they could have filmed those books!

Yes, film versions of Zahn's Thrawn Trilogy would have been nice, but the cast members would have been too old for their roles....
Same goes for Shadows of the Empire, which is set smack in the Trilogy's timeline.
