Are the leader of our churches a bunch of over-paid hypocrites??

I am 54 and from as early as I can remember Sunday was a day of rest and you didn't go shopping or out to dinner at a restaraunt. You also would not give into vanity and paint yourself up to look more presentable to others or wear fancy jewelery. I don't know but I feel the leaders in our churches are headed straight to place professing christain don't want to go and they are teaching others to follow their example.
