"Tunnel of Love" is an amazing song I don't know if it's their most famous one, have u heard "Brothers in Arms" that's one of the best songs of all times

is a song of when i was a child is from 1978 more or less it's based on the tunnel of love which is in all the ausements park as disneyland

Again, I'll agree that this probably not their mosr famous song. For those unaware of the song, the album version starts with an excert from the Rogers & Hammerstein musical 'Carousel', played on the organ. Then the more recognisable guitar of Mark Knopfler kicks in. The lyrics are based around a teenage/young man growing up as part of a travelling fair or carnival, as can be seen from the opening lyric £Getting crazy on the Wultzer, but it's the life that I choose." The song then develops into his guilt at loving a leaving the young girls he would meet along the way. In terms of tbe meaning of Dire Straits, it's a latin origin, which I believe means to be in trouble.
